Merz Trio

As a leading chamber music ensemble that has performed in the US, Australia, and the UK, the Trio’s last season included Carnegie Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Chamber Music Houston, and the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society. The ensemble earned top prizes at the 2023 Naumburg, 2019 Concert Artists Guild, 2019 Fischoff, and 2018 Chesapeake competitions.
Callisto Quartet

Since their founding in 2016, the four American- Canadian musician shave earned top prizes in nearly every international competition. Callisto is currently the Fellowship Quartet in Residence at Yale University, and maintains an active performance schedule that has included Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, the Kennedy Center and festivals throughout North America and Europe.
Project Choir ONE

FME welcomes the return of Project Choir ONE, under the direction of its founder, Dr. Jun Lee, for a program of a cappella Christmas music that spans the centuries, featuring seasonal music from multiple European countries in a variety of styles and languages. The choir is drawn from music students and graduates of the University of Connecticut. Those who have heard the choir previously will know that this concert is not to be missed.
Collective Brass

This energetic brass quintet performs a broad range of exciting chamber music. Each musician has trained at the finest music schools and conservatories in the country, and acquired considerable experience with professional ensembles and orchestras across the US and abroad. They now serve as active members of the highly-acclaimed US Military Academy Band at West Point.
Wynona Wang, Pianist

Beijing-born, this talented pianist established a career throughout the world after winning the 2018 Concert Artists Guild International Competition. She has performed with orchestras and as soloist in widely-regarded venues that include Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, the Merkin Concert Hall, Lincoln Center and the Krannert Center at the University of Illinois. Internationally, she has been a featured soloist in Ukraine, Italy, China, Spain and Indonesia.
