Elqui Trio

Combining their musical backgrounds that include South American folklore, oral traditional communication, and classical training, the Elqui Trio performances draw from an extensive repertoire that includes South American folk music, compositions from the Baroque, and recently commissioned pieces. Individually, the players have careers as chamber musicians and soloists who perform throughout Europe and the Americas.
The Sebastians

Specializing in music of the baroque and classical eras, this dynamic ensemble is known for passionate and historically-informed performances. Their program, “Handel’s London,” will explore the vibrant sound, virtuosity, and theatrical flair of 18th century compositions. The Sebastians perform at major festivals and early music series throughout the country.
New England Chamber Choir

Under the direction of its founder and conductor, Richard Donohue, the NECC has flourished for nearly three decades featuring singers from 22 central Connecticut communities. Since its beginnings, the Choir has been performing the best of choral music from medieval to modern eras. The highlight of each concert season is Music for Christmas, which the choir will perform this holiday season.
Albert Cano Smit, Pianist

Spanish/Dutch pianist Albert Cano Smit’s growing international career on the orchestral, recital, and chamber stages is the result of his captivating playing and musicality. A winner of numerous competitions and prizes, which include the Rubinstein Prize in piano at Julliard, he has performed in leading venues across the US, Germany, France, and Spain. He has appeared with numerous orchestras and regularly performs as a chamber musician.
Suliman Tekalli, Violinist

Violinist Suliman Tekalli has performed in major venues throughout the US, Canada, Central America, Europe, and Asia. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has participated at numerous music festivals and collaborated with renowned musicians. He is also a composer and arranger of classical and contemporary music and is a strong advocate of teaching and bringing classical music to young and underserved communities.
