Trio Azura
Saturday, October 10, 2026, 7:00 p.m.

Trio Azura is rapidly emerging as one of today’s most promising young ensembles, with brilliant performances noted for “intelligence and imagination”. (Gramophone) In 2024, they won four prizes at the esteemed Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, and they have also won competitions in New York and China. Recent engagements have taken them to Australia, Italy, the UAE, and Belgium, as well as across the US.

Collective Brass
Saturday, November 14, 2026, 7:00 p.m.

This delightfully fresh brass quintet loves to create music that evokes emotions and inspires its listeners.  All five members of this ensemble are part of the famed US Military Academy Band at West Point and come from some of the most highly regarded schools and performance organizations in the country. Their previous appearance at FME in 2024 was an audience favorite. Not to be missed!

Canticum Novum

FME is pleased to welcome Canticum Novum, a 22-voice professional chamber choir, to its annual Christmas celebration. Join us for an evening of sacred music celebrating the blessed season of Christmas on a musical journey that follows the star to Bethlehem through a wonderful and diverse selection of works from Byrd to Poulenc.

Evren Ozel, Pianist
Saturday, February 6, 2027, 7:00 p.m.

This highly gifted pianist was bronze medalist at the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, where he also received a special prize for Best Performance of a Mozart concerto. His orchestral debut was made with the Minnesota Orchestra at the age of 11, and since then he has performed extensively throughout the US and internationally. He has been praised for his technical mastery and compelling artistry.

Eclectica
Saturday, March 20, 2027, 7:00 p.m.

This highly unique ensemble is best summarized by its name – Eclectica—for eclectic it is! Four talented musicians who collectively play harps, dulcimer, viola da gamba, violin, recorder, and more, in a varied program of original music, as well as music from around the world in modern arrangements and adaptations. In a word, Eclectica doesn’t fit neatly into one box; you’ll just have to come to hear for yourself!

Ben Henderson, Organist
Saturday, April 17, 2027, 7:00 p.m.

This final program of the season presents the “King of Instruments,” featuring the fine Casavant organ at Emanuel, played by this outstanding young organist and native of Middletown, CT. With degrees from Eastman, including the Performers Certificate, and Rice, he has appeared with the New Haven Symphony at the Bushnell in Hartford, and has performed on Philadelphia’s famed Wanamaker organ. He is currently Organist/Music Director at First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
